Reflection

After I complete this project, the outcome I am looking for is to spread awareness and make people realize the consequences of suicide. With suicide getting very common nowadays especially around teens, it is best for them to know the reasons and causes of suicide. By spreading all this information maybe then people will stop the suicide rate and suicide will decrease instead of increase. Suicide can be easily avoided, just by speaking up and getting help from others therefore there's the need to let people know that to speak up and open is far most the best thing to do if they're having suicidal thoughts.

Why I chose this topic?

I chose the topic on Suicide for many reasons. I believe that the main reason I chose it was because suicide is so common among us teens now a days. I am pretty sure that more than 40% of us have thought about or even tried committing suicide at some point for some reason. Suicide can be caused by many reasons. One of the main reasons would be for the fact that they're depressed. From the people that are clinically depressed, about 15% of those will most likely die from suicide. For people from ages 15 to 24, suicide is the third leading cause of death and suicide is so common that an average of one person dies from it every 16.2 minutes.
